My Fitness Routine & Workout Essentials

We are halfway through the month of January and are sticking to your New Year’s Resolution of diet and exercise?! I know for many of us, our busy life sometimes prevents us from working out the way we want to. Well, I am here to tell you that if you can find 10, 20 or even 30 minutes in your schedule of free time, you can definitely workout! There are many different ways to get your exercise on...you can go to the gym, workout at home or go for a nice jog. There are also apps you can download to your phone that will help you create a workout routine to help you target specific areas that you want to work on. I love technology and how it will helps us reach our goals:)!

Working out for me is always like an adventure...testing the limits to see how far I can take my body. I always love the feeling I get from working out and the overall results. To tell you a little bit about me I am more of an outdoorsy type of gal, so workout outdoors is definitely my forte. I try to exercise as often as possible in order to stay in shape.


When it comes to working, two factors come to mind: my workout clothes and my workout routine. Wearing the right clothes to workout helps you to get in the frame of mind of exercising and makes you feel self-confident. For my workout apparel and all of my workout gear, I love shopping at TJMaxx, Ross, Marshalls and Target.  They have great options at great prices. In regards to working out, I like to read fitness magazines, go online to get exercise options or workout at home using my ExerciseTV along with having a well balance diet. I wanted to make sure that not only do I look good but I feel good as wellJ.

Leather and Leopard

Leopard print heels are starting to be my new obsession. I love the sexiness of them and how practical they are. They can be used as a neutral pop of color and add some sassy to any outfit:). Today, I decide to pair my leopard print pumps from ShoeDazzle with a fashion trend that I was on the fence about - faux leather pants. For the longest time, I told myself I wasn't going to give into that trend.....until one I decided to try a pair on. That was the day I feel in love! I purchased a pair that has zippers on the bottom of the leg, which in my opinion added more style to my pants. Really love them and I hope you guys enjoy today OOTD. Thanks for stopping by!!

Winter in Miami

Hey loves,

Happy Friday Eve!! I am so happy the end is almost here. I've had one heck of a week and I am looking forward to some rest and relaxation this weekend:).

The weather in Miami has been really HOT and made the holidays feel like just another ordinary day. Nothing really special....but I guess you get use to it living here:(. Everyone I know was praying for a cold front to come through and what do you know....we finally got the cold weather we wanted right before Christmas! I was so excited because I've had a lot of winter clothing that I've been wanting to wear - including this outfit that I wearing below for my friend's wedding.

I was really contemplating posting this outfit because 1) it was really cold that day and you can tell from my pictures below that I was freezing and 2) I didn't take pictures of my outfit underneath because without my coat, I would’ve died from the cold. Lol. I've been waiting for the weather to cool down here but with us flirting with record breaking heat, it doesn't look like it's happening anytime soon. Hope you guys don't mind not seeing the full outfit. When it does cools down again, I will repost this outfit so y'all can get a better look at the outfit and see how we Miamian dress for the cold:).

Nail Polish Collection/Storage

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

It's no secret that I am a nail polish fanatic! Lol. But with my nail polish collection growing, I had to figure out a way to store my polishes without having to drill holes in the wall. While I was at HomeGoods, I came across this Hanging 24 Multi Pocket Organization holder and I knew it would be perfect for me. It has 12 pockets on each side which allows me to separate my nail polishes by color and keep them nice and organize. Over The Knee

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you guys had an amazing week:)!!

Lately, it has been a bit chilly, cloudy and windy in Miami. With weather like this, I tend to get really excited because I like to find any excuse to wear my "winter" clothing since it almost always hot here all year round:). For today's outfit, I decided to bust out my OTK (over the knee) boots (which have collecting dust from sitting in my closet for most of the year) and pair it with a double zipper jacket that I got from HauteLook to create this warm and cozy look for today's OOTD.
