Wedding Expo Experience

Hello loves,
Recently, I went to wedding expo hosted by The Wedding Salon and I wanted to share with guys the free gifts that I got and tell you a little about them. Wedding Expos are great event to go to to help plan your wedding. There you get to meet with vendors face-to-face and get a feel for how professional they are and to see if your personalities mesh well. Also, you get to see their products and how they arrange their setup so you can get a better idea of what the company does.
Brides go to wedding expo and get a chance to try sample foods, try cakes and alcohol, shop for gowns and the BEST part of all win amazing prizes!!

Check out the goodie bag that I got along with my video talking more about the wedding expo. Enjoy!!

**Remember to have fun with planning your wedding. It’s not every day you are planning your wedding so make sure you enjoy every minute. Bridal shows and wedding expos are great for getting ideas to plan you wedding. Although it can be a little overwhelming, it still could be a lot of fun. You get to enjoy the vendors free samples, get a laugh while participating in the contests and most of all - have a good time!!! **

Nails of the Week: Pastel Nails

Hello my loves,
For this week nails of the week, I wanted to something that embraced the current trend – Pastel Colors. While at Walgreens a couple weeks ago I picked up a Wet N Wild Purple Nail Polish called On A Trip for $.99 but never got around to getting nails done with this color. This week I decided to go for since it was such a pretty purple color and would go great with the nail style that I had in mind.

WNW On A Trip is a very opaque nail polish that is more on the lilac side than purple and when paired with my mint green nail polish, it reminds me of Easter.

The mint green nail polish that I used to create this nail style is from Forever 21 called Mint and I topped with a glitter nail polish to give it that added glitter effectSmile!

The WNW nail polish comes with a unique, full-coverage brush that makes the nail polish application easy to apply and has been design with a new formula that makes it chip resistant which cause it to last longer. I am really curious to see if it live up to the hype and how many days it will go without chipping.

Nail of the Week: OPI Need Sunglasses?

Hey loves,
Bright colors are the all the rage and for this week nail of the week I wanted to pair the colors yellow and orange together to create this style. I purchase this nail art kit from CVS and I had manicurist style whatever she wanted on my ring finger and she came up with this cute nail style. Enjoy!

To create this nail style, she painted my nails with OPI Need Sunglasses? which is a sunny yellow nail polish that is perfect for summer. The only problem with this nail polish is that is very streaky and it took four coats to really get the color to show.

She then took Kiss Nail Art in bright orange and drew a flower on my ring finger and outlined it with glitter. (I love glitter:)!

Nails of the Week: Mint Green Cream

Hello my loves,
Mint green is the biggest color trend for the 2012 spring/summer fashion season and I wanted to incorporate the new trend on my nails----but with a twist. I decided to do every other nail with OPI Alpine Snow to create this Mint Green Cream. Hope you all enjoy it!

Essie Mint Candy Apple is a light mint green nail that has a light blue creme undertone and is part of the 2009 Winter Essie Sweet Time of the Year Collection. The formula for the nail polish is a bit tricky to work with as my manicurist had to add acetone to it to make it easier to apply. After applying two coats and my top coat, I was thoroughly impressed with the finished looked.
