Linen Days

One of my favorite pieces of clothing to wear during the summer time is my linen jumpsuit. I purchased this jumpsuit about 3 years ago from a local boutique and it has been going strong ever since. Not only is it comfortable but its lightweight enough for me to wear in the blustering South Florida heat. For my look today, I kept it pretty neutral. Since the jumpsuit is strapless, I paired it with a studded denim vest and finished my look off with white and gold accessories and strappy brown sandals. This look is a very comfortable look and perfect to wear to lunch with your girls or to be out and about town running errands.

Floral Shorts

I haven’t always been a fan of shorts. I have very muscular legs and when I was younger, kids would always make fun of me for them - kids can be very mean. But as I got older, I started to embrace my legs and didn’t care what people had to say. I started venturing out by wearing skirts and rompers, but still wasn’t comfortable with the idea of shorts. Weird right? Well, awhile back I decided to drop the silly notion of not wearing short and bought these colorful shorts from the clearance section at Nordstrom Rack. I love the bright bold floral pattern on them and thought that they would make a great addiction to my collection. These shorts are very comfortable and quite versatile. There are so many colors on it that you can use to play around with to create an outfit. For my look today, I paired the shorts with a teal blazer for a pop of color and finished off my look with bright yellow heels. I think this look is bit more polish and yet fun and flirty for the summer.

Play Date

Jumpsuits are my go to outfit of choice. They are easy to style and don't require much work. I purchased this jumpsuit from ASOS last year and was drawn to the tribal/Aztec pattern on it. I love how colorfully it is without being over the top. I wore this jumpsuit once before on my blog but I decided to style it again it in a different way to make it date night friendly. I wanted to play up the sexyiness of the outfit while still keeping it classy:). The best part of my look are my heels. I love how girly yet tough they look and how they bring my look together.

Brightful Summer

Happy Friday Eve everyone! I hope you all had a great week so far!
Playing with colors in my wardrobe is something I always have fun with. The brighter the colors are, the happier I am:). Awhile back, I received this bold statement necklace from Ikavee and I loved how bright and colorful it is. Since this necklace has such a presence, I decided to make it the focal point of my outfit. I played with the colors in it by pairing it with a green dress, pink clutch and neon bracelets. I absolutely love this colorful look and I hope you do to.

Floral Kimono

Happy Friday everyone! I am soo glad it’s the weekend and I ready to take it easy and I hope you all are too!
Awhile back I was in TJMaxx and saw this black maxi dress and fell in love with it. When you look at it from the front, it’s your typical long black dress but then you turn it around and viola…cutout crisscross detail in the back. That detail enhanced the dress a bit and helped to set it apart from all the others. To spice up the look, I decided to throw on this floral print kimono that I picked up from Marshalls. I was immediately drawn to the colors and love how the fringe detail sets this kimono apart and felt that it would be perfect for my dress. It added something to look without it being over the top. To complete my outfit, I added colorful accessories that played off the colors in the kimono.

When I wore this outfit out, I had so many people tell that I looked like a geisha and even though that wasn't the look that I was going for, I loved the compliment. Hope you all enjoy this look.
