Polka Dots

Hey loves. I absolutely love the Peplum trend!! Peplum is a short piece of fabric that is attached at the waist of a women's blouse, jacket, skirt or dress to help redefine a women's natural shape and give off an hourglass figure look:). It help to draws the eyes towards your mid section and gives the illusion of a cinched waist.

There are several ways to wear Peplum and here are some ideas:

A. Bottoms: Pair with skinny jeans, pencil skirts or tapered pants.

B. Skirts: Wear it with a shirt tucked in to bring focus to your waist.

C. Dresses: Wear a snug dress to give the hourglass figure look and make sure the skirt portion of the dress is a pencil skirt.

For today's look, I decided to pair my polka dot Peplum top with skinny jeans. I hope you enjoy the look:).

Sunny Days

The weather in Miami has been ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and we decided to take advantage of it. On Sunday was my mother-n-law's birthday and we took her out to brunch to celebrate. It was a perfect day to do so! I wore this bright, fun and flirt yellow dress from Target that screams Spring to me and it was the perfect dress to celebrate a special occasion.

Believe

Weekends are what I live for:)! It gives me the chance to relax after a crazy week and enjoy some time with my husband and catch up with good friends:). I wore this outfit last Saturday to go to dinner with my husband and some friends of ours and watch a musical called In The Heights. I fell in love with the musical after seeing it on Broadway about 5 years ago. The show ended its run Broadway about two years later and started touring. When they came to Miami, I saw it again and took my husband with me so he can experience the love that I have for the show. Then this past weekend, we went as a big group and I saw it again for the third time! In my opinion, it's truly one of the best musicals that ran on Broadway and so glad I got to see it one last final time♥♥! The best part of that night was me getting the chance to meet the dad from one of my favorite tv shows - Psych. What a great way to end my night!

Rainbow Chevron

Happy Friday!! I hope you had an amazing week!
I am loving the chevron trend and the moment I saw this shirt, I knew it would make a perfect addition to my closet! It's so colorful and bright and perfect for Spring/Summer. I love the variety of colors in the blouse - which makes it easy to style. For today's look, I paired the chevron blouse with black pants, blue heels and and a yellow handbag so that my top would stand out - and it did! Love and Peace

Putting on this outfit made me feel extra feminine and girly - pink and pastels tend to do that for me:). Since it was a breeze day in Miami, I decided to make the main focus of this outfit the scarf that I got from RMC Jewerly. The scarf is not too thick and provides the right amount of warmth. Since the scarf is a colorful scarf, I played off the main three colors (pink, blue and yellow) to create this look. Enjoy!
