Multicolored Stripes

Lately, I've been finding myself shopping more and more in the clothing department of Target. They always have the latest styles at affordable prices.
My obsession with clothing from Target came my senior in college. On one of our breaks from class, my friend Evelyn and I went to Target and she took me over to the clothing section. Up into that point I never gave it a second thought to shop at this store for clothes and boy I wish I did. I fell in love with so many pieces and that's when my love affair with Target began.  The quality of the clothes is amazing and you can put together fashionable look on a budget. So thank you Evelyn for introducing me to the wonderful world of Tar-Jay!
I purchased this dress last year from Target and love the versatility of it. You can dress it up or down and still look put together:). Hope you enjoy the look.

Ahh...Spring how I love thee♥! Now that it's Spring is officially here, be prepared to see more colorful looks on my blog:). When I think of Spring, I think of combining bright colors and floral patterns together to create a look . For today's outfit, I paired a green and blue Prabal Gurung for Target sweater with tights that had the same color scheme and added orange accessories for a pop of color. Hope you enjoy the look!

Beauty School Dropout

Hey loves,
You ever walk into a store and see a shirt or a pair pants that you know you can't leave without....well, that's exactly how I felt about this shirt! Recently, my husband and I went out of town to celebrate his and my really good friend's birthday. Since we were going to be there for a couple days, we decided to check out Forever 21 to do a little bit of shopping. I love shopping at Forever 21 because they tend to always have unique pieces at reasonable prices. While there I came across this amazing top and from the moment I saw it, I knew it had to be mine. Looking at this shirt, it reminded me of a scene in the movie Grease where Frenchy was visited by a guardian angel after she decided to drop out of beauty school. Grease is one of my all time favorite musical movies and I felt that this shirt represented that scene really well. This shirt is very unique and it has a lot of character, which made it a perfect addiction to my closet:).

Rainbow Brite

Hey loves,
So where do I begin with this look. Well, first of all....it's bright as heck:). Secondly, I am taking color blocking to a-WHOLE-nother level. Literally! Even though I am color blocking, everything is still is coordinated.

I wore this look yesterday to rock my new hair-do because i felt i needed a bright outfit to balance out my big hair. I was in a really good mood and I wanted my outfit to reflect it. One of my friends told me that I look like Rainbow Brite from the 1980's cartoon show and felt that it was an appropriate name for this look.

You either go big or go home right?! So I decided to big and bright:). I hope you guys enjoy this look.

Colorful Grandma

Hey loves,

Fashion is something you have to take risk with. Sometimes it works.... and sometimes it doesn't. Today's outfit is one I was on the fence about. Lately, it has been a bit chilly here and I wanted to wear this lime green sweater that I got from Target on clearance recently:). Since it's a bright sweater, I wanted to pair it with a bright skirt for a very colorful outfit. Well, when we went to take the pictures my husband said I looked like a colorful grandma and didn't like this look at all. I didn't think I did but looking at it now, I think I do a little bit. Oh well...we still decided to shoot this look. I hope you guys like it and let me know what you think:). Enjoy!
