Rainy Days

For the last couple of days, it has been raining in South Florida and when it rains, I want to make sure I am properly dressed and comfortable. I know no one wants to be caught out in the rain unprepared! The trick is to always keep an umbrella in your car and a small one in your purse. You never know when you are going to need it - especially in South Florida:).  
Every morning before I get dressed, I always check the weather report. This weeks forecast called for 50 to 60 percent chance of rain, which means its going to pour. Determined to take pictures of my look (mainly to show you guys my new umbrella that I got from Ross:)), I found a little break in the rain to take my photos. I wanted brighten up my look so I paired my outfit with colorful accessories and rain boots. Rain boots have become an essential part of my wardrobe this time of you and I wanted to share how I style them - how to look chic in the rain:). Enjoy the look!

Sporty Chic

Happy Tuesday!
Wearing "jogging" pants is a new trend that has become a fashion must have for Spring 2013. Jogging pants are relaxed loose fitting pants that are a perfect mix of both lazy day style and sporty chic. When wearing these pants, its all about balance. You want to make sure you balance the sporty look with something dressy - never pair with sneakers! Pair these pants with a tank, a bold necklace, pumps and jackets and you have a effortless look with a runway ready style.
For today's look, I wanted to play with the colors in the pants by adding a bright orange jacket to make this look more fun and colorful. This pants are very comfortable and I am glad that I added them to my wardrobe. Hope you enjoy the look!

Don't Bother Any More

Hey loves!!
Today is my 6 month wedding anniversary with my husband! Yay! I can't believe its been 6 months already...time sure does fly!! To celebrate, we had brunch in an area in Miami called Coconut Grove and afterwards we decided to walk around. Since I knew we were going to be out and about, I opted for a casual and comfortable look. I have to tell you guys I am not a sneakers kind of girl but when I got these skull studded sneakers, I knew they would be perfect for a day like today. They added a bit of edginess to my outfit. Multicolored Stripes

Lately, I've been finding myself shopping more and more in the clothing department of Target. They always have the latest styles at affordable prices.
My obsession with clothing from Target came my senior in college. On one of our breaks from class, my friend Evelyn and I went to Target and she took me over to the clothing section. Up into that point I never gave it a second thought to shop at this store for clothes and boy I wish I did. I fell in love with so many pieces and that's when my love affair with Target began.  The quality of the clothes is amazing and you can put together fashionable look on a budget. So thank you Evelyn for introducing me to the wonderful world of Tar-Jay!
