Sweet Love

A few weeks back, my really good friend and her fiancé had their bridal shower and I wanted to wear something sweet and girly to their event. I went to TJMaxx and came across this floral dress that I felt was perfect for the occasion. I love the bright floral colors on the white background and how feminine this dress looked. To make my dress pop even more, I added a red belt and kept my accessories very simple as I wanted my dress to be the main focal point of my look. Since the dress had a lot going on, I completed my look with my black and white sandals.

Side note: The weather in Miami has been all over the place and trying to take pictures outdoors while it was raining prove to be a hard task but my photographer and I were able get it done:). Hope you guys enjoy this look!

I wanted to share with you all my friend and her fiance's save the date flyer. I thought it was so creative and so unique. I did her makeup for the look and helped them out with the shoot. I am so happy to be part of the process and I can't wait for their special day!

Sweater Dress

Well hello Fall!!! How I’ve been looking forward to you all year!

I love this time of year because there is a change in the temperature; even as slight as it is, there is still a change. And even though the leaves don’t change colors here in South Florida, I still like to pretend its FallJ. I like to change up my home décor and burn candles to make my house smell and feel like it’s another season. Recently, I went to Ross and came across this cowl neck sweater dress and fell in love with the pattern. I love the neutral colors and I love how easy it was to style. This dress is light weight which makes it perfect to wear in 80 degree weather. For my look today, I threw on some off white booties and some gold accessories but when the temps get cooler here in Miami, I plan on paring this dress with leggings and some boots to give it a more warm and cozy feel.

Just Do Whatever Your Hearts Say

Fashion is all about stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new. Sometimes you win and other times the outfit comes out missing the mark but that’s what comes with the territory of fashion. Recently, I have been stepping outside of my comfort zone and pushing myself to try different styles and different trends. I really enjoy that aspect of fashion because it helps me to branch out while allowing me to express myself.
I’ve been obsessing over the idea of wearing shorts with knee high boots but living in South Florida that is a bit hard to do since its always hot outside. Well this past weekend, we had a small cold front come through that dropped the temps down to the 70s and I was able to pull out my boots and wear this outfit. This look is a bit out of my comfort zone but I love the final result.  It’s a bit edge but sexy at the same time. When I look at this out, it somewhat gives me a 90s feel to it because I included plaid in the mix.

A Night Out

Hello my love! My look today was created as part of a Las Vegas style challenge. I was challenge to take on a day at the Cosmopolitan ofLas Vegas and I decided to create a look for a night out at the Marquee. For my look, I went with a sexy form fitting crop top set that shows a bit of skin while keeping a balance.  To complete outfit, I went with a bold gold statement necklace, gold clutch and a wing ring. I kept the accessories minimal as I wanted my outfit to stand out. This outfit is very easy to style and for sure will get you a lot of attention at the clubJ. Hope you all enjoy this look. #MyCosmoStyle

Floral Chic

Hi my loves! I apologize for the lack of outfit posts. The past couple of weeks have been really crazy for me and it didn't help that it rained everyday but I am back with a new one for you all:).

Currently, we are in the fall season but Miami know nothing about seasons. The weather has been a steady 80/90 degrees with a lot of rain - which makes it hard to dress for Fall. As much as I want to embrace the change of season, I can't without burning up from the heat. Oh...the struggle! Hopefully, one day it will cool down in Miami so I can put some Fall looks together. But for now, I have to dress for where I live. Since it has been hot here, I went with a shorts and blazer look. This look is one of my all time favorite styles because it makes you look relaxed but well put together. I really love the bright colors on the blazer so I completed my look with fuchsia shorts and neon accessories.

Hope you guys are having a great day!
